Pontiac Pursuit
The Pontiac Pursuit was first introduced in 2005 to the Canadian and Mexican markets by General Motors. It is classified as being a compact car. It is the same car as the G5 in the United States, but the name Pursuit is only used in Canada and Mexico. Since 2007 this car has also been sold in the United States, but under the G5 model name.
The Pontiac Pursuit is sold as a four door sedan in Canada and Mexico, but everywhere else it is a two door coupe, such as in the United States. This car is assembled in the Lordstown, Ohio plant in the United States and is built upon the GM Delta platform. There are two engines used for the Pontiac Pursuit and they are the 2.2 L or the 2.4 L and either a 5 speed manual transmission or a 4 speed automatic transmission can be chosen from. In Canada and Mexico there are three trims: the base, SE and GT levels.
