Pontiac Montana
The Pontiac Montana was produced between 1999 and 2008, although the 2007 and 2008 models will only be sold in Canada and Mexico, because since 2006 it is no longer produced for the United States due to its bad sale records.
There were two generations of Pontiac Montana and the first generation was built from 1999 until 2005 is a 4 door minivan that was built on the U platform of General Motors. There is only one 4 speed automatic transmission available. There is one engine that was used and that was the 3.4 L V6. There is also a long wheel base and short wheel base available, and for the American market only the long wheel based was available and sold.
The second generation of Pontiac Montana started in 2006 and will be discontinued in 2008. There are three engines made for this Montana generation, the 3.5 L V6, 3.9 L V6 and the 3.9 L LGD version which is also only available for the cars made for Canada.
