Pontiac G5
The Pontiac G5 was first introduced to the Canadian and Mexican markets in 2005 and to the American market in 2007. The G5 is still in production today. It is put into the compact class of cars. In the US it is just known as the Pontiac G5, but elsewhere it is also called the Pursuit. It is manufactured at the General Motors plant in Lordstown, Ohio in the Untied States.
The Pontiac G5 only comes as a 2 door coupe in the United States, however in Canada and Mexico there is also a 4 door sedan body style available to the consumers. It is based and built upon the GM Delta platform.There are two engines used for the Pontiac Pursuit and they are the 2.2 L or the 2.4 L and either a 5 speed manual transmission or a 4 speed automatic transmission can be chosen from. One of the most differentiating features of the Pontiac G5 is that it uses electric power steering. In Canada and Mexico there are three trims: the base, SE and GT levels.
