Mazda MX6
The Mazda Navajo was produced by the Mazda Motor Corporation from 1991 until 1995. Although sold as a Mazda, it was actually assembled by the Ford Motor Company in Louisville, Kentucky. It was closely related to the Ford Explorer.
This car was built as a 2 door vehicle and was considered to be a mid-sized SUV. It had either rear wheel drive or all wheel drive and the 4.0 L V6 engine was the standard used for the Mazda Navajo. There were both a 4 speed automatic and 5 speed manual transmissions available. There were two trim levels of the Mazda Navajo and they were known as the base and LX version. The LX trim was a bit more luxurious on the inside, but if special features such as air conditioning were wanted, it was necessary to buy a separate package in which that was included. Starting in 1992 the base version which had the sporty rear wheel drive was referred to as the DX trim.
