Mazda MX6
The Mazda MX6 was made from 1988 until 1997 by the Auto Alliance International, which was the partnership and joint venture of the Mazda and Ford companies. This car was closely related to the Ford Probe and the two shared many common features and were even almost identical in regards to the mechanics. It was assembled in three plants and the one was in Michigan, USA and the other two were located in Japan.
The Mazda MX6 was categorized into the sport compact class of car and came only as a 2 door coupe. The first years from 1988 until 1992 were built upon the GD platform and the rest of the models were all built on the GE platform. There were 4 trim levels made of the Mazda MX6 and they were called the DX, LX, LE and GT trims.
