Mazda Millenia
The Mazda Millenia was first introduced in 1993 and was produced by the Mazda Corporation up until 2002. It was assembled in Hiroshima, Japan and was classified as a mid-size executive car. Mazda had planned this car to be one of two more upscale cars, but due to lack of money only the Millenia was manufactured instead of both cars. It was the replacement for the 929 model.
The Mazda Millenia was a 4 door sedan that was built on the Mazda TA platform. There were two engines, a 2.5 L V6 with 170 hp and a 2.3 L Miller Cycle V6 with 210 hp, that were available and they were always accompanied by a 4 speed automatic transmission. The Mazda Millenia was full of fine details and also did well in handling and safety tests and was even almost on the same level as BMWs with its Elk test results. This was a good car for many years, but eventually was discontinued after 10 years because of the low sales rates.
