The Mazda Miata is the name of the MX5 in North America and was produced from 1990 until 2006. During the production years a total of 797,293 cars had been built. A recently popular cartoon movie, Cars, also featured two cars that were Miatas and their names were even derived from this model - Mia and Tia.
