The Mazda GLC Hatchback first came out onto the market in 1981 and was built up until 1985. It was categorized into the subcompact class of cars. There were a few body styles available and among them were the 3 and 5 door hatchback versions. All of these built cars were produced in the Hiroshima and Hofu plants located in Japan. These Mazda models were built directly by the Mazda Motor Corporation before the Ford Motor Company started to mix in with the production.
