Jeep Grand Cherokee
The Jeep Grand Cherokee is the sport utility vehicle made by the Jeep. The car is a byproduct of the original Jeep Cherokee. The Grand Cherokee's original idea came into the mind of the engineers of AMC when they were planning to make the successor of the Cherokee.
The Grand Cherokee was first introduced in 1992 in North America in Detroit during a fashion show. The car was launched with ZJ model produced during the time period of 1993 to 1998. This model was introduced with three trims; the base, Laredo and the Limited trim. The base model was available with all the basic features like interior with cloth, a standard five-speed manual transmission. The Laredo model was a bit improved. The AMC also changed the 4.0L straight-6 engine that was able to towage 5000 lb, though the engine was able to receive somehow less hp but it was having more torsion and even was quieter in noise.
And in the same year the AMC replaced the Grand Cherokee fender emblems with a font style which was used in Chrysler vehicles. A In the same year Limited model too was improved with radio control from the steering wheel, and variable assistance while driving and parking as well.
