The Chrysler Sebring Sedan was first introduced to the market in 2001 and is still being produced today in the Sterling Heights plant in Michigan, United States. It is classified as a mid-size car and it is a 4 door sedan that is built on the Chrysler JR platform.
The Chrysler Sebring Sedan was a replacement model for two other cars, the Cirrus and the Breeze (sold under the Plymouth name). For the sedan there were several variations and trims sold, and some trims even had more of a break down into special trim versions! Some of the main trims that were sold included the LX, LXi, Touring, Limited and Signature series.
The Sebring is also sold in other parts of the world under other names, such as in Mexico where it is known as the Cirrus. An interesting fact is that the first generation Chrysler Sebring Sedan will make a comeback under a Russian name and production is assumed to begin soon, the date given is 2007/2008.
