Chrysler New Yorker LHS:
The Chrysler New Yorker LHS was the New Yorker trim from 1994 until 1997. It was one of a long list trims that were made from the base New Yorker which Chrysler has built from 1939, but discontinued in 1996. This car has for many years been a symbol of the high class luxury cars that Chrysler was known to have a reputation for. The Chrysler New Yorker LHS was a four door sedan which is based on the Chrysler LH platform and comes equipped with a 4 speed automatic transmission. There was only one engine version available for this trim and that was the 3.5 L V6.
The Chrysler New Yorker LHS was known, unlike for many other New Yorker trims, for its handling and performance when driving and this was partly due to the powerful 3.5 L engine. The fact that the engine chosen for this full size car is only a V6 is unusual, but has proven to be a wise choice. The car is more fuel economic than other full size sedans, however, there is still enough power for a great ride. There are also many safety features which are standard for this trim, such as dual airbags or child safety locks on the back doors, which make this trim also suitable for family driving.
