Nissan Stanza Wagon
The Nissan Stanza Wagon was introduced to the market in the year 1977 as a part of the Nissan Stanza brand. It was designed in Japan as a twin to the A10 and was also referred to as the Nissan Bluebird in some parts of the world. This branding was not used on the US market however due to a bus company that already used the brand in the US. The vehicle was known as the Datsun 510 in earlier models and it is not until a later model of the 510 that the name was formally changed to the Nissan Stanza. There were many changes in design of the 510 over the years leading up to the alteration in the name of the vehicle.
The Nissan Stanza Wagon and the Stanza were popular on the market to some autocross lovers. There were however some issues hindering the overall success of the vehicle. This included the hike in the gas prices at that time. This resulted in the vehicle suffering to some of the smaller models in the Nissan/Datsun line up that were more fuel efficient and had more in terms of economy.
