Honda Civic Coupe:
In the year 1993 there was the debuting of the Honda Civic Coupe. This was a tow door notchback that shared the wheelbase of the Civic Sedan. The vehicle was offered in two trim versions, the DX and the EX versions. There was the DX that had the same look of the DX hatchback and the EX coupe that copied the sedan. There was the same engine in the models and this was about 125 hp and there was a moon roof as well. There were option packages as well with the coupe having a passenger airbag and a stereo with cassette as an option. The EX was even more generous in that the standard features included the sound system as well as the addition of air condition.
In the year 1996 there was the addition of another coupe to the line up. This was the HX coupe. This Honda Civic Coupe replaced the VX hatchback on the line up and had good mileage ratings as well as a powerful engine. Then in 1997 the EX coupes that came with manual transmissions did not have the option of ABS. Then in the year 199 there was the reintroduction of the Civic Si and this came back with a new coupe style body and a sport potential that matched as much as 160 hp. The Honda Civic Coupe is still an option in the Honda line up and there is definitely a more aggressive look to the coupe compared to the sedans.
