Dodge Ramcharger
The Ramcharger was classified as a full sized SUV built by Dodge from 1974 up until 1993, when it was discontinued and replaced by the Durango. The Dodge Ramcharger had only one two door body style available and was originally only made as a four wheel drive car, however, that changed starting in 1975 when a two wheel drive version was introduced to the market. The chassis of the Dodge Ramcharger was the same as the one used for the RAM pickups of the time, with the only difference being that the Ramcharger had a smaller wheelbase.
The Dodge Ramcharger was a competitor to other large sport utility vehicles such as the Ford Bronco. This car was also sometimes used as a rally car, but it never really took its place in this sporting branch and was not very successful. The Dodge Ramcharger was discontinued by the Chrysler Corporation in 1993, however, it was once again produced and marketed in Mexico from 1999 - 2002. This version, though, was never sold in the United States.
