Dodge Caliber
A fine product from the most modern assembly lines of DiamlerChrysler, located at Belvedere Assembly (Illinois), Dodge Caliber was first introduced in market in the spring of the year 2006 in place of NEON. Caliber is a 5 door hatchback was is nearly the same size as its previous model Neon. Dodge Caliber was first displayed at the Geneva Motor Show 2005. It went on sale in the year 2006 as the 2007 model. Its style features were similar to the large Dodge models like the crosshair grill and large flared fenders.
For the Asian market right hand drive version of the Caliber was introduced along with Viper-Coupe model. Caliber also symbolized the return of Dodge brand to Australia after a gap of nearly 30 years i.e. after early 1970's.
The Caliber is available in 3 different models. The SE does not have air conditioning, power locks, windows, mirror and the grill is same color as the body. The SXT has the same engine configuration as SE but has air conditioning, power locks and mirrors. The other model is the R/T which has chrome handles, side moldings and exhaust tip.
