Volkswagen FOX
The Volkswagen Fox is a supermini made by Volkswagen. Currently the Fox is produced as a three-door hatchback. It is also having a mini XUV version that is called CrossFox.
In South American Market this mini XUV fits between the two of its supermini brothers, one is the low cost Gol and the Polo. Though the height is small it gives the inner space same as its competitor Opel Corsa, Fiat Palio, Ford Fiesta etc. The Volkswagen CrossFox is a mini SUV version that differenciates it from the Volswagen Fox.
The Fox had some different features like a larger boot and more rear leg room that the hatchback versions. The car was introduced in Europe at a Motor Show in 2005. And it was the only car that was available as a three-door hatchback and with three engine options. the 1.2 L 40 kW (55 hp) and 1.4 L 55 kW (75 hp) petrol engines and the 1.4 L 51 kW (69 hp) TDI engine. The Volkswagen Fox was sold with many options that reduced its tag price. And moreover this car proved with its twin airbag system and anti-lock braking system that small cars can also be safe.
