Chevrolet Full-size Van
Chevrolet Van, popularly know as Chevrolet Full-size Van, produced by General Motors was first produced in 1961 using a flat, opposed rear engine which was modified putting it between and behind the front seats, with a flat nose. Following the engine forward design, the second generation of Chevy Van was introduced and the engine was placed to the fore of the driver, having a nose and a hood. Moreover, the third generation Full-size Van had an extended body with a door on the left side, aerodynamic style without the visible hinges and taillights existent on the rear doors.
Rectangular headlights and locking steering columns were introduced in 1982 providing a 3 speed manual transmission on the column, and the redesigning of the tail lights was performed in 1985 and a wheelbase of 155 inch was added in 1990 to give an attractive look to the van.
The current Chevrolet Full-size Van equipped with engines LS type is a spectacular one, better than the Savanna by over 3 to 1.
