Chevy Full size C/K Pick up
Chevrolet's full size pickup truck product line was named C/K from 1960 to 1998. The name was given because of the features that the trucks had. "C" type trucks were two wheel drives while the "K" type trucks were designed as four wheel drive. The Chevy C/K pickup truck was a light duty machine which was replaced with GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado HD in 1988 and 1999 respectively.
There were many designs and face uplifts from the time these pick up trucks were first launched in 1960s to the time they were decommissioned. The models were called C10, C15, C20, C30, and C36 for the C type two wheel drive pickup trucks; and K10, K15 and K20 models for the four wheel drive K type pick up trucks from Chevrolet.
The C/K Chevrolet pick up trucks were powered by a Vortec V8 engine in the newer models, which could generate as high as 230 horse power of energy for pulling tons of load. The Chevy C/K trucks were powerful machines of their time and were quite famous for the amount of weight they could handle. Even now, there is a fair bit of resale market for these pick up trucks. They were made to handle rough work and they proved that none was better than them.
But, as with every machine and especially those that are designed to do the hard work, there is a period after which the machines are required to be revamped; parts need to be changed and replaced with newer ones in order to increase their lives. We, at iAutoBodyParts are fully aware of this need and are trying to help you to maintain your Chevy C/K pick up truck so that it never loses its power and shape. We have all the spare parts that you could ask for, for your pick up trucks, and we have them at the lowest cost, and with life time warranty for all the parts.
